elian — Music Player for Mac
For help with elian, email us at support@elianmusic.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Click Open Tracks in the app, drag and drop files into the window, or double-click a supported audio file in Finder.
elian supports MP3, AIFF, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, and other formats supported by macOS.
Playback starts immediately while BPM detection runs in the background. The value appears within a few seconds after the analysis completes.
Yes — BPM (speed) and Pitch (key/tone) are completely independent. Changing one has no effect on the other.
elian analyses every file's spectral content to detect if it was upscaled from a lower quality source. Genuine Quality means the file appears unaltered. Suspicious means it was likely re-encoded or upscaled. Low Quality means the source quality is below professional standard.
elian detects the key and BPM of each track and can rename the actual file on disk to embed that information. You choose the format (e.g. [7A - 128] Track Name.aiff) and preview all changes before applying.
Click the Camelot button in the top right. The wheel shows all 24 Camelot positions. Hover any key to highlight its harmonically compatible neighbours in blue — these are the safest keys to mix into or out of.
elian subscriptions are managed entirely through the Mac App Store. To cancel or manage your subscription, open the App Store, click your account name, and go to Subscriptions.
After the trial, playback, BPM detection, key detection, Camelot Wheel, waveform, and quality detection remain free. The BPM fader, Pitch fader, and Track Rename require a Pro subscription.
elian requires macOS 13 Ventura or later. It is optimised for Apple Silicon (M1 and later).
elian is currently available for Mac only. iOS and other platforms may come in future versions.
Email support@elianmusic.com with a description of what happened, the track format involved, and your macOS version. Screenshots or screen recordings help a lot.
